About the event
This Holiday adventure will be a shortened version of our spring hike that goes from McClures Beach to Keyhoe Beach. Instead, we’ll hike out and back to the crown jewel, Elephant Cave. Along the way, plan to navigate slippery rocks and do some wading.
Back at the trailhead, we’ll serve up French wines, a non-alcohol option, oysters on the half shell with mignonette sauce from Bodega Bay Oyster Company, a warming bowl of bouillabaisse, crusty French bread from the famed Brickmaiden Bakery in Point Reyes, our own homemade compound butter, greens from the Ranch at Sonoma Mountain, and finishing it all with our signature crème brule with blackberry curd.
We’ll share our knowledge of the tide pools, the history of Pierce Point Ranch and the area, and hear from Bodega Bay Oyster Company’s Farmer about how oysters are raised and made their way to this culinary celebration!
